Doug Small:
involved in all aspects of hockey for over 32 years.Doug started playing hockey at the age of 3 and has been successful in coaching the Juvenile Jr. North Stars for over 12 years.Doug has brought teams to win

  • 5 “AAA” City Championships
  • 3 “AAA” All Ontario Gold Medals
  •  “AAA” All Ontario Bronze Medal

He is proud to say that he has taught Cheryl Pounder who is a 2 time Gold Medalist for Team Canada.

Doug knows how to break it down to get his students to understand the right techniques with the patience that is needed.  He works hard at getting the most out of every player.


  Clint Owen

  • 18 years experience as a goaltending instructor.
  • Played NCAA St. Lawrence Division 1, received a
    full scholarship.
  • Played Metro Junior “A” for the Wexford Raiders
    winning championship title in 1993.
  • Played minor hockey “AAA” for the Toronto Red Wings.


  Mitch MacEachern

  • He has been actively involved in hockey since 9yrs old.
  • Started instructing at 15 years of age.
  • Started coaching at 19 years of age.
  • Brings enthusiasm and energy to his classes.
  • He has been coaching and playing with Doug Small for 5 years.
  • He can teach both goalie’s and player’s as he has played both positions during his career.
